Amplify Today: Lower Drug Costs
Biden/Harris Administration announced lower drug costs, saving taxpayers $6 Billion Dollars
Today, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced new, lower drug prices for the first ten drugs selected for price negotiations thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act provision allowing the federal government to negotiate drug prices.
These ten drugs were used by 9 million Medicare recipients, costing $3.4 billion in out-of-pocket costs. These new prices will save Medicare recipients $1.5 billion annually and all US taxpayers $6 billion annually!
We have President Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris to thank for this.

The Biden/Harris administration negotiated with Big Pharma, lowering the costs of the ten most expensive and commonly used drugs between 40 and 80%.
This will save Medicare recipients $1.5 billion in out-of-pocket expenses and US taxpayers $6 billion in the first year alone.
Donald Trump and the Republican party want to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act and are threatening cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.
