While that legislation is helpful, it’s really important to focus on far more progressive policies from the Housing Coalition, Shelterforce and the National Housing Law Project. Preserving and improving existing sub sizes housing, expanding housing allowances, ending homelessness and developing new generations of housing for truly low income and working class families , not just “affordable “housing for the middle class

Thank you, Andy. I appreciate you flagging this, and I know this has been a longstanding concern of yours. Worth noting the bill does include some narrower provisions aimed at low-income households, but as you say, it doesn't come close to addressing the housing crisis facing the most vulnerable. Thanks for raising this.
