ICE Kills
This is Trump's America.
Yesterday, an ICE agent shot and killed Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis. She was 37 years old. A mother. A Minneapolis resident. A U.S. citizen.
Within hours, the gaslighting began.
Donald Trump, Kristi Noem, and the MAGA ecosystem rushed to justify the killing, claiming it was necessary, that Renee posed a threat, that a woman sitting in her Honda Pilot was somehow a “domestic terrorist.” That federal agents’ lives were at risk.
Thanks to videos of the incident, those claims collapse on contact with reality.
Trump’s sycophants have flooded social media, scrambling for any angle that might justify the killing, desperate to defend an administration peddling absurd and unsupported claims.
The video is clear. This was not self-defense. Renee Nicole Good put no one’s life at risk. If you watch that footage and rush to defend Trump, ICE, and this administration, you are not engaging with reality; you are the one with Trump Derangement Syndrome.
This was a killing, carried out in broad daylight by a masked federal agent operating in the streets of an American city, without a judicial warrant, under an immigration regime that treats intimidation as policy.
In a functioning democracy, this would end careers. Kristi Noem. Stephen Miller. Greg Bovino. Gone.
In Trump’s America, it’s more likely they’ll be rewarded.
How We Got Here
This didn’t happen in a vacuum.
Donald Trump and Stephen Miller built an immigration system that runs on spectacle and fear—randomized raids, masked agents, quota-driven enforcement, and public intimidation designed to send a message. Not just to undocumented immigrants, but to anyone who might stand with them.
That system killed Renee Nicole Good.
As a citizen, she had every right to be there. Every right to protest. Every right to stand up for her neighbors and say: this is wrong. That is not terrorism.
This killing came one day after the anniversary of January 6th. A dark moment in our history, when a violent mob stormed the U.S. Capitol, beat police officers, erected a gallows, and attempted to overturn a democratic election.
Those rioters? Pardoned by Donald Trump.
So let’s not pretend that Trump, Miller, Noem, or ICE are working to keep us safe. Let’s not pretend they have the public’s interests at heart. They exist to push Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda—regardless of the consequences.
In Trump’s America, violence for him is patriotic.
Dissent against him is criminal.
A mob that tried to overthrow the government walks free.
A mother, sitting in her car, peacefully protesting his policies, is labeled a terrorist and killed.
This is Trump’s America.

I remember how shocking Kent State was. Renee Nicole Good’s death shocked me like that even after watching ICE and the admin operate unlawfully for months. This was cold blooded murder. My heart goes out to her and her family. An act like this is supposed to scare us and keep us in line. It is the exact moment where we have to stand up and resist.
