Today is National Voter Registration Day and we are partnering with the good folks at Vote Save America to help spread the word.
Check your registration and share with friends.
Most of you reading this are probably already registered voters. And that’s great! But there are still a few things you can do today to have an impact:
Check your registration. If you live in a blue state, chances are you are fine, but double-checking doesn’t hurt. Some states (cough cough Georgia) like to remove registered voters from the voting rolls, so if you live in a state with funky voting laws, you should double-check. Vote Save America has an excellent tool for doing that. If you’ve moved since the last election, you might need to register using your new address. This is particularly important for recent college graduates who no longer live in the state they went to school in.
Remind your friends and family members to register or check their registration. Today is the day to be “that friend.” This is the message I’m going to send to my friends and family members via text. Feel free to use it or adjust it on your own:

VoteSaveAmerica.com/vote. Even if you think you are registered, it’s good to double-check. You might need to update your address. Also you can get sample ballots and see important information about early voting and mail-in voting deadlines.
Make a plan to vote. I know it sounds simple, but making a plan is essential. Find out where your voting location is and who is on your ballot. You can also learn about important deadlines regarding early voting and mail-in ballots. If possible make a plan with a friend or family member.
